anti-psychotic medication they try. Furthermore, it is widely reported that anti-psychotic medication must be taken regularly, at an effective dose (which varies from person to person) for a period of between 3-6 weeks before it has any noticeable effect on the illness. While the initial effects are felt at this time, recovery continues, gradually over a period of 3-6 months. Typically, the initial side effects of fatigue and sedation improve considerably after 1-2 weeks of treatment. Finally, some illnesses which have delusions as a symptom, can directly cause gradual damage to the brain and cognitive function if left untreated. For all of the above reasons, I strongly encourage you to continue taking medication and being involved with follow-up, while pursuing other plans for liberation. |

Dear Jamie.
I hope you're well. I've stumbled across your blog, and felt that I should make a comment. I hope you don't take this comment as disputing the reality of your experience, as it is not intended to do so. Having read your blog, I can see that the you are absolutely convinced of the reality of your situation and certainly, the distress you feel is very real. You come across as an articulate, intelligent person, and as such, you may at least consider the possibility that some of your experience may have a basis in delusion, and at least explore the possibility of treatment. It seems that you have tried at least one anti-psychotic medication. I understand, from my own researsh into various reputable sources of information, that at least 1/3 of people do not respond to the first |

Hey Jamie! I don't quite follow everything that's going on, but I am very sorry that it's happening. I hope it all works out, and that you know you are very well missed, and loved here. All the family says 'Hello' and they hope things turn out for the best. Hang in there. Love you! |

Jamie. Its Jojo from Wanaka. Hope all is well up there. Really enjoyed catching up at Hotwater Beach earlier in the year. Josephine emailed the other day and said that there might be a family gathering over Christmas & New Year. Annabel and I will not be there at that time but might make it up at some stage over the summer. Say hi to J,B&F when you next see them. Look forward to hearing from you. Chow. |
